Rider Small

Whats a good size dirtbike for a 13 year old, first time, female rider?
Looking to get my sister into dirtbikes. Eventually, she wants to race. I was wondering what size bike I should start her off on. She is 13, small, and a first time rider. I wasnt sure if I should got with a 4 or 2 stroke and what size. 80, 85? Let me know. Thanks
You don’t say how small so it is hard to suggest a bike, but she should learn to ride on something basic and not worry about the racing till she has had seat time on a bike and then upgrade. Look at something like the ttr125, klx125 or crf150f. They are all basic trail bikes and not any good for mx but if you put her on an mx bike first up you may scare her off

The Masked Rider $19.48 Dysentery, drunken soldiers, and corrupt officials provide the background for Neil Peart’s physical and spiritual cycling journey through West Africa. The prolific drummer for the rock band Rush travels through African villages, both large and small, and relates his story through photographs, journal entries, and tales of adventure, while simultaneously addressing issues such as differences in culture, psychology, and labels. Literary and artistic sidekicks such as Aristotle, Dante, and Van Gogh join Peart and his cycling companions, reminding the reader that this is not just another travel book—it is a story of both external and introspective discovery and adventure. |

Wind Rider $4.99 Fern dreams of riding on a wild horse’s back, as fleet as the wind. She makes pets of small animals and watches the bison herds as they pound over the endless grasses of the steppe. Chafing at the inequality of being female, she longs for the freedom her twin brother enjoys to run free in the wilderness. One day in early spring, Fern secretly rescues a young horse mired in the bog, names her Thunder, and tames her enough to ride. But the people of her tribe are distrustful of her bond with nature. Is she a witch? Fern’s future looks bleak until a silent man in a rival tribe, known only as The Nameless One, teaches her about patience—and love. Susan Williams’s lyrical prose makes this journey to prehistoric western Asia at once inspiring and heart wrenching. |
