Leather Horse Saddles: Styles For All Riders
A great collection of leather horse saddles can be found online in a variety of colors, styles, and sizes. Some popular categories are Showman, Blue River, Circle S, and Double T saddles. Most of the saddles are made of a light or dark bullhide, while a few of the barrel racing saddle styles come with ostrich print seats in teal, pink, or purple. These saddles also have colored accents in the same ostrich print along the skirting.
Showman: With seats ranging in size from 15 to 17 inches, these are an excellent saddle for individuals involved in roping. Barrel racers often find these to be a great saddle as well. The skirts on each saddle are either square or round and there are full quarter horse bars too. These are definitely built to last. The bullhide and hardwood construction provide durability and comfort.
Circle S: Whether a saddle for barrel racing, showing, cutting and reining, or roping is needed, this line carries them all. Depending on the style of saddle chosen, the seats can range between 10 to 17 inches, accommodating even the smallest rider. A choice of either a round or square skirt is available with the barrel racing saddle and they only weight between 22 to 25 pounds. The seats are soft suede, providing plenty of comfort.
Besides the saddle styles described above, there is a variety of tack available to complete any riding ensemble imaginable. Bridle types include cowboy style, one ear bridles, show or browband bridles. Additional accessories offered include leather roping or split reins, roping tie downs, breast collars, and barrel racing tie downs.
